Berth Arrangement
When purchasing tickets through 12306 Online Ticketing Platform (including website and mobile app), or the Ticketing Counter at station or designated Ticket Agents, you can choose either upper or lower berth. If you are traveling with companions, the system will arrange the same room with adjacent beds if possible. However, this will depend on the availability of remaining tickets at the time of booking. Tickets sold by Ticket Machines are randomly assigned to either an upper or lower berth.
Passenger can find the car and seat numbers of their tickets from the "Ticket" section of their 12306 account. For sleeper trains, the seat number is the berth number. Alternatively, the information is available on the Trip Information Reminders. Please board on your car and look for your berth from the illuminated signage outside each room. You may ignore the blue number on the top which is the room number. The berth numbers are in white. Even numbers are for upper berths while the odd numbers refer to lower berths.
Personal Amenities
Toiletries pack, slippers, hanger, reading light and hanging hook are available. Besides, each berth is equipped with Hong Kong socket, Mainland socket, USB and Type C plugs.
Food and Beverage
The food and beverage counter is in Car No. 8. But supplies are limited and may not satisfy all passenger requirements. Passengers are encouraged to prepare their own light meals.
Other Facilities
Each compartment has three toilets with additional sinks outside. Complimentary hot water is available. Please bring your own bottle or cup. Besides, sockets are available at compartment corridor and between seats except Hong Kong sockets. Please bring a power bank as a back-up.
