Passengers can enjoy an easy train journey by following the steps below and paying attention to the relevant information.
Departing from Mainland Stations
If you are taking a train from Mainland station, simply follow these steps:
- Real-name Checking and Ticket Verification
Enter the Self-service Gate or use the staff assistance channel with your identification document for real-name checking and ticket verification - Boarding
Enter the boarding gate using your identification document or QR Code Ticket1 - Arriving at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station
- After exiting the train at the platform (Level B4), follow signs to the Arrival Concourse (Level B2) for immigration formalities
- Exit the gate using your identification document or QR Code Ticket1 to leave the station
1 As a 12306 registered user, after buying your ticket, you can use your identification document to board and exit, or use your QR Code Ticket on the China Railway 12306 mobile app (Chinese platform only) if you have completed facial verification on the app
