Join the 124th Canton Fair with High Speed Rail

The 124th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held from 15 October to 4 November 2018 in Guangzhou. The Canton Fair is a comprehensive international trade event that attracts more than 200,000 exhibitors and buyers from 210 countries and regions all over the world. With the recent opening of High Speed Rail in Hong Kong, exhibitors and participants from Hong Kong and overseas can now enjoy a frequent 1-hour journey train service to Guangzhou. It takes only 47 minutes if you travel on trains without intermediate stops. What’s more, since High Speed Rail departs from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, located in downtown Hong Kong, it offers extra convenience to business travellers.

Getting to the Canton Fair from Hong Kong with High Speed Rail:

  1. To Hong Kong West Kowloon Station
    From downtown Hong Kong: Take the MTR to West Rail Line Austin Station or Tung Chung Line Kowloon Station, walk across the footbridges or through the subways to arrive at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station.
    From Hong Kong International Airport: Take the Airport Express and get off at Kowloon Station in approximately 22 minutes. Take Free Airport Express Shuttle Bus K1 or walk across the footbridges to arrive at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station.
  2. Take High Speed Rail to Guangzhounan Station
    There are 34 round-trip trains available daily between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Guangzhounan Station. Travellers may take the Vibrant Express trains operated by MTR Corporation; the trains have a spacious design as well as thoughtful on board facilities and amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and power sockets, to enhance the travel experience.
  3. To China Import and Export Fair Complex
    Take a 45-minute ride by taxi from Guangzhounan Station to the complex, or take Metro Line 2 to Changgang Station, then transfer to Line 8 and exit at Xingang Dong Station (to Area A) or Pazhou Station (to Area B or C).
