New Stations Added: Enping, Furongzhen, Jingdezhenbei, and More

From 1 July 2025, the High Speed Rail (Hong Kong Section) will introduce seven new stations on 5 selected routes, including Enping, Furongzhen, Jingdezhenbei, Lechangdong, Xianningbei, Luohexi and Leiyangxi. Along with upgrades of existing services, passengers could travel directly between Hong Kong and 96 Mainland destinations, offering greater flexibility for travel adventures.

This update optimises five routes, covering both short and long haul journeys in northbound and southbound directions, including:

[Enping Station – Zhanjiangxi Route]

Enping City, located in western Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, is the ancestral hometown of many Hong Kong residents. Together with Xinhui, Kaiping, and Taishan, it forms the "Siyi" (Four Counties) region, renowned for its hot springs. With the opening of Enping Station, travellers can reach Enping in approximately 2.5 hours by the High Speed Rail, with an additional 25 minute journey to Enping city centre, saving over half the travel time. The spacious and comfortable seating enhances convenience and ease of movement. On the return trip, you can also stop by Kaiping City or Jiangmen City for sightseeing and then take the High Speed Rail to home. Click here to view the timetable.

[Furongzhen Station – Zhangjiajie Route]

The Zhangjiajie route, launched in June 2024, has made Zhangjiajie an emerging destination for Hong Kong travellers. Beyond the renowned Tianmen Mountain and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, nearby attractions like Fenghuang Ancient Town and Furongzhen are also highly popular. This optimised route now includes a stop at Furongzhen Station on the return journey to Hong Kong, making trip planning more convenient. Click here to view the timetable.

[Jingdezhenbei Station – Shanghai Hongqiao Route]

Jingdezhen, China's famous porcelain capital, is celebrated for its exceptional craftsmanship, with even the city's street lampposts crafted from ceramics. The new Jingdezhenbei Station allows travellers to reach Jingdezhen from Hong Kong in approximately 5 hours, significantly reducing transfer times and costs. Click here to view the timetable.

[Service Adjustments to Meet Diverse Travel Needs]

From July 1, 2025, the High Speed Rail (Hong Kong Section) timetable schedule will be updated, and the following adjustments will be made to intermediate stops on some routes. For details, click here to view the timetable.

G6578/5 Shantou Route: Northbound trains will no longer stop at Kuitan Station.

G306 Tianjinxi Route: Northbound trains will no longer stop at Hengshanxi Station.

G826/7 Xianbei Route: Northbound trains will no longer stop at Hengshanxi, Yingdexi, or Zhumadianxi Stations.

Train service to and from Qingsheng will be temporarily adjusted to one northbound and one southbound train per day.
