[Upgrade on the Shanghai Hongqiao Route – Direct Access to Nanjing, Wuxi, Hefei and More!]
The Shanghai Hongqiao route has been upgraded, with an additional pair of train running daily between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Station. The route passes through key East China cities including Nanjing, Wuxi and Hefei, all rich in tourism resources and included in the "Individual Visit Scheme". The new route will also stop at popular destinations including Wuhan, Changshanan and Chenzhouxi, offering greater convenience for both business and leisure travellers.
Nanjing: A historic capital of six dynasties with deep cultural roots. Enjoy a night cruise along the Qinhuai River, savour the famous salted duck, or visit the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum to admire its grand architecture and unique blend of ancient and modern charm.
Wuxi: known as the "Pearl of Taihu Lake". This city is easily accessible by High Speed Rail and perfect for a relaxing tour of Jiangnan's picturesque waterways.
Hefei: Renowned for Bao Zheng ("Lord Bao") and its Three Kingdoms heritage. Visit Bao Gong Park to learn about his legacy of honesty and integrity, or stroll through Binhu Wetland Park to enjoy peaceful lakeside and mountain scenery.

[Enhanced Train Services to Chaoshan, Xiamen and Fuzhou]
With the launch of the Guangzhou-Shanwei and Shantou-Shanwei Railways, routes between Hong Kong and popular destinations including Chaoshan, Xiamen and Fuzhou will be further optimised.
Trains between Shantou and Hong Kong West Kowloon Station will increase to five pairs daily, with some services stopping at new stations including Huiyangdong, Lufengdong and Shantounan.
Additionally, there are three pairs of trains currently operate daily between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Xiamen. One of these trains will be extended to Fuzhou, making travel to the eastern Guangdong and southern Fujian even more convenient.

[More Frequent Shanghai Hongqiao Sleeper Trains – Now Departing Daily!]
The Shanghai Hongqiao sleeper train has been highly popular since its launch. To meet growing demand, the service will be upgraded to daily departures (currently operating from Friday to Monday). Some trains will also stop at Nanchangdong and Ganzhouxi Station, offering greater flexibility.
Take advantage of the sleeper train's "depart in the evening, arrive in the morning" advantage, arrive refreshed and ready to begin your journey!

[More Trains to Guangzhounan and Qingyuan – Seamless Travel Across the Greater Bay Area]
High Speed Rail journey to Guangzhounan station take as little as 47 minutes, making it a preferred choice for many travellers heading to Guangzhou. To meet increasing demand, some trains previously terminating at Futian or Shenzhenbei Station will now extend to Guangzhounan, bringing the total to 37 pairs of trains daily between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Guangzhounan Station.
Additionally, trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Changshanan Station will add a stop at Qingyuan Station, further enhancing connectivity across the Greater Bay Area.

[Up to 109 daily train services – Greater Flexibility for Every Journey]
Following these service enhancements, the High Speed Rail now offers 106 pairs of long-haul, short-haul and sleeper trains daily. On Fridays, Sundays and Mondays, the number rises to 107 pairs, and up to 109 pairs on Saturdays, offering travellers even greater flexibility and convenience for every trip.
