New Zhangjiajiexi route calling at Fenghuanggucheng station
On 15 June, High Speed Rail launches Zhangjiajiexi route, with the addition of 6 new stations. Travelling with High Speed Rail is equally convenient for long-haul and short-haul journeys!
In addition, the train services between Hong Kong West Kowloon station and Futian station, Shenzhenbei station, as well as Guangzhoudong station, have been enhanced, further facilitating leisure and business trips.

With the new Zhangjiajiexi route, you may conveniently visit the enchanting sceneries of Zhangjiajie, well-known as a "human paradise" and the Fenghuang Ancient Town, the home town of different mysterious ethnic minorities. Let's go and explore the splendid sceneries along the new route.
The Zhangjiajiexi route has added 6 new destinations along the route, whereas, the Zhangjiajiexi Station is located near several UNESCO World Natural Heritage sites that rival the beauty of a human paradise, such as Tianmen Mountain, Suoxiyu, Tianzishan Nature Reserve and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The Fenghuanggucheng station is connected to the historic Fenghuang Ancient Town with the Fenghuang maglev sightseeing express line, adding convenience for visitors to explore the distinctive buildings (Diaojiaolou) and the Phoenix Hong Bridge. Visitors can also dress up as an ethnic minority and immerse themselves in the enchanting atmosphere of the ancient town.

Frequency enhancement of Shenzhen and Guangzhou train service
The number of trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon station and Shenzhenbei station (direct or connecting trains) is enhanced from 146 trains to 159 trains a day (161 trains on Saturdays). The number of trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon station and Futian station (direct or connecting trains) is enhanced from 97 trains to 106 trains a day. Some of the newly added trains also apply to the "Flexi-trip", which allows passengers to flexibly change their schedules on the same day.
In addition, the number of trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon station and Guangzhoudong station is enhanced from 20 trains to 26 trains a day.
