3 New Stations Added: Guangzhoubei, Yiwu and Fuqingxi

From 1 July 2026, High Speed Rail services will call at three new stations—Guangzhoubei, Yiwu and Fuqingxi—bringing the total number of directly connected destinations in the Chinese Mainland to 113. Tickets for journeys to and from the new stations are now on sale.

The newly added Guangzhoubei Station is one of Guangzhou's key transport hubs, offering convenient same-station interchange with Guangzhou Metro Line 9 and the intercity Huadu Station.

The station is located near one of Guangzhou's largest family-friendly cultural and leisure destinations—Guangzhou Sunac Land Resort. From Guangzhoubei Station, passengers can take the Guangzhou East Ring Intercity Railway to Huachengjie Station, just one stop and approximately 10 minutes away. Sunac Land, Sunac Snow Park, Sunac Water Park and Sunac Sports World offer thrilling rides, indoor skiing, water attractions and a wide range of sports activities, making the resort an ideal choice for summer holidays or weekend family getaways.

Travelling from Guangzhoubei Station to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is also convenient. Upon arrival at Guangzhoubei Station, passengers can transfer to the Intercity Railway or take a ride-hailing service for a quick journey to the airport in around 20 minutes, enabling seamless connections to flights.

As one of the world's busiest airports, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport offers an extensive domestic network with frequent flights to a wide range of popular leisure and business destinations. Whether travelling to destinations such as Urumqi, Hohhot and Lijiang, or connecting to major Mainland cities including Chengdu, Chongqing and Xi'an, passengers can enjoy greater flexibility when planning their journeys with convenient rail–air connections.

【Yiwu — Direct Sleeper Train Service to the World's Small Commodities Hub】

Yiwu is a world-renowned distribution centre for small commodities. The Shanghai Hongqiao Sleeper Train service will now call at Yiwu Station, allowing passengers to travel overnight and arrive the following morning. This makes better use of travel time and enables business travellers to seize valuable commercial opportunities.

【Fuqingxi — Gateway to Discover Min Dong Culture】

Located on the south-eastern coast of Fujian, Fuqing is renowned as the "Hometown of Overseas Chinese" and serves as an important node along the Maritime Silk Road. High Speed Rail trains travelling to and from Fuzhou will now call at Fuqingxi Station, making it easier for passengers to explore the city's cultural charm and coastal scenery.
